Purpose: This policy is put in place to provide clear guidelines regarding the usage of massage vouchers at our establishment. We aim to ensure fair and consistent application of voucher utilisation while maximising customer
Voucher Duration: The voucher shall be valid for the duration specified on the gift voucher. The full hour stated on the voucher will be considered the minimum time allocated for the massage session.
Partial Usage: If you decide to use less time specified on your voucher, we will deduct the original voucher value in cash from the total amount you owe. The remaining time mentioned on the voucher does not affect the calculation of the remaining amount; the remaining amount is solely based on the monetary value of the voucher itself.
Booking and Cancellation: – Prior to booking an appointment, customers must inform the receptionist of their intention to use a massage voucher and provide the voucher number for verification.
– In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, the customer should inform us at least 24 hours before the appointment time to avoid the voucher being considered used. Failure to do so may result in the full deduction of the voucher from the customer’s account.
Expiry Date
– Vouchers are valid until the expiration date stated on the gift voucher itself.
– Our policy states that expired vouchers cannot be accepted, and unfortunately, no extensions can be granted beyond the expiry date. However, we now offer a solution for those who wish to redeem their expired vouchers. By paying a fee of £15, you will have the opportunity to use your voucher even after its expiration date.
Non-Transferable: Massage vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used by the individual named on the voucher. Any attempt to transfer or sell vouchers may result in their invalidation.
Additional Services: If the customer wishes to extend their massage session or add any additional services beyond the duration covered by the voucher, the standard rates will apply for the additional time or services obtained.
Discretionary Power: Management retains the right to exercise discretion in exceptional cases, such as resolving disputes or amending policy conditions, provided that such actions are fair and reasonable for all parties involved.
Note: This policy is subject to change, and any modifications or updates will be duly communicated to our customers in a timely fashion.

Yes, but if you want a treatment that involves oil, body scrub, blams, etc., you will need to provide a medical certificate which states that you can undergo treatment. Please discuss you situation with us. And we can advise you on the ingredients used in our products.
A traditional Thai massage is done dry, without any oils or other products applied to the skin. If in doubt, we suggest you stick with this form of massage. Better safe than sorry.
Note: we may refuse treatment if you have any sites of active bleeding. We do not were gloves and so we cannot carry out a massage if you have any broken skin with evidence of current or very recent bleeding.
Yes, provided your pregnancy is part of the first timester (i.e you are at least 13 weeks’ pregnant) Our pregnancy massage avoids applying any pressure to your abdomen and instead focuses on your back and legs. Read more about what is involved on our pregnancy massage page.
There’s no specific dress code, but we recommend wearing comfortable clothes. You only need to undress to the point you are comfortable with. Usually, this would be bra off (if applicable) and down to your underwear, but you’ll be covered with a towel from upper thigh to waist anyway. We do not do naked massages – underwear is kept on!
For our traditional Thai massage, you will be provided with loose clothing to wear, probably a baggy t-shirt and shorts. That’s because this massage is done dry, without any oil. Most of our other massages involve the application of either unscented or aromatic oil. If you’re worried about any oil getting on your underwear, we can provide you with a disposable pair.
You shouldn’t feel sore after a gentle massage, like our Aromatic Thai massage. However, it’s very normal to feel some muscle soreness after a firmer massage, possibly even into the following day if you haven’t had one regularly. The manipulation of tissue and muscle fibres, especially in a deep tissue massage, is intended to coax tight, knotted muscles into easing and realigning. This can result in a deep “burning” soreness due the increased blood flow and inflammation within the treated areas, like the muscle burn you might get after a very intense workout. It should resolve within a day or so.
It is very important that you tell us about any muscle injuries or spasms you are experiencing before the massage begins. Asking for a strong or deep tissue massage to an injured muscle that you’ve mistaken for “just a bit of tension” could make things worse. Nobody wants a “pop – ouch!” moment. We always recommend starting out with a moderate level of pressure and then increasing the intensity only if required. The idea is to work through layers of tension, not push through them. An injured muscle in pain will cramp/spasm to protect itself.
You should not normally experience any bruising, but it can happen if you are prone to bruising or if you’ve asked for a strong massage. Again, we recommend starting out with a medium pressure first, and always follow your therapist’s advice.
Relief Thai Spa cancellation policy is 24 hours. If you can no longer keep your appointment please reschedule 24 hours in advance, that way we can offer your slot to clients on our waiting list.
We charge a full-service price for late cancellations or for not showing up.
